Setting Up a Fun Playground

Ever since I was small, I always wanted to have a playroom inside the house and a playground outside.

The playroom will have lots of racks, cabinets and boxes that will contain all my toys. Outside, the playground will be on top of a bed of velvety green grass and complete with a seesaw, slide, and swingsets. And then I would invite my friends to come and play with me. weeeee

As times passed, I know that it was quite impossible to reach that. I just do not have space. And even though I had my own room at home, it was not big enough and well, I would have to clean all my times at least once a week because it will really gather dust.

But now that I have a child, I buy toys for Dindin but I know that deep inside, I am just fulfilling my fantasy. It is just too bad though for Dennis because we do not have a baby boy. :(

We have so many toys now and nowhere to place them all. I would really love a gallery or display case for all of Dindin’s toys. teehee Anyway, I am just happy that we have toys to play with. LOL

Have You Heard About a Divorce Ceremony?

Have you heard about a divorce ceremony? I only know about a wedding ceremony and not a divorce ceremony. Maybe I am just prudish or old-fashioned, or maybe I just live under a rock. But this kind of ceremony is just too foreign for me.

According to website called thedivorceceremony.com:

“The person conducting the Divorce Ceremony calls the person or couple requesting the ceremony to the front and to stand near him or her. The ceremony then starts and ends with the person or persons declaring that they are now divorced, single and unattached.”

While I have no offense to the person conducting these ceremonies because his intention is really for good, I am just wondering why we have reached this point in our society where we already have these divorce ceremonies. It seems exalting divorce, even if the point of the matter is really for the estranged couples to find closure and move on with ease with their new lives.

I really cannot fathom the depth and breadth of this concept. It is entirely new to me and something that my thought processes are not processing.

Get Well Gifts for Him

Of course, all of us have men in our lives with different degrees of relationship. He could be our husband, lover, father, uncle, grandfather, friend or even your boss.

And while men can appear tough, there were be times when they succumb to sickness or they just got involved in an unfortunate incident.

Try as you can to visit him (if you do not live in the same house) because there is much healing in the presence of someone who care for you. Then pray for the sick that he may be healed or comforted at such a time. And don’t forget to bring get well gifts for him. It will be much appreciated.

It does not have to be an expensive gift. A card with a hand-written note may do. It is just to show how much you care for the person. Just be sensitive with his preferences or dislikes. For example, you cannot give flowers to a guy who has allergic rhinitis or is asthmatic. That could trigger more symptoms.
