An Expectant Mom

These are my musings…

My pregnancy will be 36 weeks this coming Wednesday. I will be visiting my doctor on March 2 for my internal exam. More than being scared, I am more than excited to become a Mom. I can’t wait for my baby to come out. And I think, neither does she. Baby is getting heavier every minute! ๐Ÿ™‚

Anyway, honestly, it is becoming very difficult. The weight of the baby is bearing on my lower back, thighs, lower abdomen, legs and pubic area. I get cramps, pains, aches, whatever every day. And it is getting very difficult to sleep and even breathe.

I just console myself that soon we will be holding our baby and all that will just vanish. I know, there will be a different amount of difficult afterwards, but at least other people can share in the work of taking care of the baby, like our families. While now, I have to endure the changes inside me.

I am psyching up myself to breastfeed the baby and I am praying that when she latches on to me the first time, she will have milk from me.

So excited already. Please help us pray for effortless delivery. Thank you all! ๐Ÿ™‚
