If you have wooden floors, it would be nice to have them laminated to protect its shine. But at the same time, I think a good reason is that it will also protect your family.
You see wood is porous and it has a lot of crevices where really insects and dust mites can live. So for me, it would be good to laminate floor for this purpose.
At home, we have parquet wood tiles as flooring for all the bedrooms. My mother in law makes sure that the floors get a coating every now and then. And well, laminate keeps the floor shiny and looking good, too.
This post is reminding me to clean the floor as it is already dusty. Too bad that our floor mop broke down last night. We will have to buy a small mop again. Sigh…
