When you have so much money and nowhere to put it anymore, it is easy to splurge on the home of your dreams. And in the case of power couple Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen, it is a dreamy sprawling estate with a moat, which is reminiscent of a castle but with a modern twist. Supermodel and successful entrepreneur Gisele and football superstar Tom have made it big in both their endeavors. Yeah, they can afford this house that took years in the making and it is beautiful, to say the least.
I just wonder though, with a place like this, how could you possibly call it eco-friendly? Sure it has modern design that makes use of the elements but it also took five years to build and has used up a lot of resources. So how eco-friendly is it really? With only two kids, this is a really big place. And think about the upkeep, too.
I guess my idea of something eco-friendly is a home that does not produce so much waste. Or that it didn’t produce so much waste while constructing it. Don’t you think? Or I’m just naive? Ok fine. In terms of design, this is awesome! This is a huge house and something that many people can only dream of in their lifetimes. But to keep on calling it eco-friendly? I don’t think so.
Grand. Palatial. Opulent. House of dreams.
