Cebu Landmasters Inc. (CLI) announces two new Bacolod subdivisions they’re developing. Soon, we will see the rise of Casa Mira Bacolod and Velmiro Plains Bacolod.
New Bacolod Subdivisions
More and more national real estate developers have ventured into Bacolod City. Much of the once vast lands dedicated for sugarcane have been transformed into residential villages. This is just proof that the population of Bacolod is growing and more people want to own a piece of real estate.
Listed real-estate company Cebu Landmasters Inc. (CLI) has launched two new projects. It has recently unveiled Casa Mira Bacolod and Velmiro Plains Bacolod in an event held at Seda Capitol Central.

Casa Mira Bacolod
CLI chief executive officer Jose Soberano III was in Bacolod for the launch.
He said that Casa Mira Bacolod is a 4.5-hectare property that will feature the following:
- 431 townhouse units with floor areas ranging from 40 sqm to 78 sqm
- Lot sizes ranging from 48 sqm to 60 sqm
- Top-of-the-line toilet and bath fixtures (shower, water closet, and lavatory) Premium wall and ceiling finishes
- Kitchen countertop and base cabinets
- Well-appointed powder room
- Individual water meters
- Spacious carport
The design of the houses is inspired by sugar canes, the top agricultural crop in Negros. Additionally, there will be chevron latticework incorporated as house accents.
Located in Barangay Granada, it is accessible to hospitals, schools, malls, and other establishments.

Meanwhile, the PhP600-million Velmiro Plains Bacolod is an 8.35-hectare development. It is strategically located in Burgos Avenue, Brgy. Granada and features 342 single-detached house and lots.

- Asha (hope)
- Felicity Prime (bliss)
- Dara (wisdom)
The homes are designed to provide comfortable living spaces fit for families. Their design inspiration comes from “Balay na Bato”—an ode to Bacolod City’s rich cultural heritage. The are large windows, clean lines, warm tones, and minimalistic hues.

Furthermore, CLI announced that they are starting construction on the Php 1.345 billion Citadines Bacolod City. The 200-room proposed Bacolod hotel is designed by Architect Bong Recio.
Located along the city’s main thoroughfare on Lacson Street, the hotel sits on a 4,502 sqm lot. It will have 14 floors with a gross floor area of 24,861 sqm.
The company expects to ride on the emerging tourism industry in the city. Visitors to Bacolod are growing and the city is fast becoming a choice destination for international meetings and events.
Early this year, CLI announced plans to grow its investments in the hospitality sector. Moreover, Soberano said the company will be building 15 hotels in 3-5 years’ time.
Currently, Cebu Landmasters’ hospitality portfolio is already close to 1,000 rooms.
Why Bacolod City
“Bacolod is a very important market for Cebu Landmasters,” Soberano says. “As we expand our presence in the city, we are excited to serve the evolving lifestyle and market needs of the Bacolodnons,” he adds.
These two new Bacolod subdivisions follow CLI’s first development in Bacolod City. It is the three-tower MesaVirre Garden Residences launched in 2018.
