Bacolod food tourism is fast becoming a come-on for tourists. And Cebu Pacific is helping everyone to visit the City of Smiles with daily flights.
If not for the annual Masskara Festival, there is not much going on in Bacolod City for the rest of the year. But thanks to our voracious appetites and passionate cook, the city is slowly inching its way to carve a reputation as a foodie destination in the Philippines.
Bacolod Food Tourism
Bacolodnons like different kinds of flavors. We have a rich culinary heritage, thanks mostly to our Spanish ancestors.
While we have food that is putting Bacolod on the map, like the chicken inasal and cansi, we also have flavorful versions of cuisine coming from other regions. Moreover, we also have Bacolod restaurants that feature international cuisine, like French, Italian, Vietnamese, Indian-Mediterranean, Mexican, Spanish, and the like. They go all out to satisfy the Bacolodnon sense of adventure for flavors.
Now, tourists come here not merely for sightseeing but to satisfy their taste buds and fill their tummies. And not only that they must bring home something for their loved ones with our Bacolod pasalubong.
Sharing is Caring
Bacolod food is almost always good for sharing. They are better enjoyed with good company. And we do love to linger over our food. People have made many good memories over great food.
That is why my wife and I is a team called Mama Cooks, Papa Eats. But she does like to eat, too, that’s why she’s my favorite foodie adventure buddy. We love our food trips here and abroad and we hope to share the same love of food to our children.
Fly to Bacolod Via Cebu Pacific
Come and visit Bacolod City, not just for the Masskara Festival, which happens every October. For what we lack in beach resorts, we more than compensate with our endless array of good food. We have so many Bacolod restaurants to try and we even have a speakeasy bar with craft beers. It’s called the Trap Door.
