First Impressions Last

Honestly, I just learned about this brand of footwear. Bata Shoes just recently opened at the ground floor of the SM City Bacolod north wing. And so, I have no background whatsoever about the brand.

But when I visited the store during the grand opening day, I learned that Bata Shoes has been around since 1894. A brand that has lasted that long around the world is surely something to be trusted. Truly, I was really impressed with what I learned and also with what I have seen.

Collection of Bata Shoes for Men

Bata has quite a collection of classic shoes for men. They have dress shoes as well as casual shoes. There are also some rubber shoes, but these are just few and far between. While Bata is a Swiss brand, these shoes are all made in Italy, so we can expect nothing less than good quality shoes.

Quality at Reasonable Prices

There were a few pairs that are from their high-end line, but generally, Bata Shoes are quite reasonably priced. They are affordable to anyone with a job. Actually, the rather pricey pairs are also reasonably priced because they are made with authentic leather.

Bata Shoes emphasize on comfort, style, as well as durability. They look good and classy and the fit is light. And they stand with the slogan about men being dapper.

By the way, there are also some styles made of pure leather and are waterproof. Plus, they also have bags for men and women available.

My New Shoes

I am happy with my new pair of shoes. And my wife is happy with it, too. But actually, she was the one who chose it for me. haha To be honest, I trust her choices, it seems that she can better choose my stuff for me. I am the casual shoes kind of guy, with a light fit. The one I got at Bata Shoes is a great fit for me. They would go well with the new casual pants that I bought during the 3-day sale at the SM Store.

Bata Shoes for Women

One of the things that I noticed at Bata is that they have so many styles for women’s footwear. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her time there. I just wish that they also have more choices for men, like dress sandals. Maybe we will get to see more stocks coming to Bacolod soon.
