My husband and I have been very excited with preparing for our daughter’s first birthday. Birthday celebrations are meaningful to us, a time to reminisce about God’s faithfulness in our lives the past year and to celebrate His goodness.
I had been quite busy, reserving catering, venue, ordering cake, balloons, etc. While I had my work to do. But despite the tiredness, we stay up late thinking about what else to do to make the event special. We are not really planning a grandiose event. Just a simple dinner get-together of family and friends to celebrate Dindin’s birthday and to have other people who mean much to us around. They also get to pray for her and share in her life.
We have been blessed this year to have Dindin with us. And we are thankful. And we want to celebrate. Let’s party!
