I have seen Bubba Smith as an actor both on TV and in the movies but I never knew that he was a former NFL defensive player. Anyway, the Los Angeles Times reported that Mr. Smith was found dead in his home in LA today.
Although the autopsy has not been released yet, it seems that Bubba, whose real name is Charles Aaron Smith, it is most likely that he died of natural causes according to the paper. He was a legend on the field.
It was not clear though if Bubba had been married or if he was with anybody during the time of his death. Well, my condolences to his family. It is just sad when somebody is just found dead without their loved ones around them. I wonder where his family is or if ever he has.
