By now, you all know that hubby is a Superman fan. Oh well, I guess that is the understatement of the year. The truth of the matter is, he is Superman. Ooopppsss…now I spilled the big secret. haha
Anyway, we wanted to watch Man of Steel here before he left for Manila last week. And since he was going to Manila, he also contemplated on watching the Superman reboot at the IMAX Theatre at the MOA. I told him to go for it, as long as we watched it here first so that we can go together.
But circumstances did not allow it. We were just too busy on the days leading to his trip that we just had no way of sneaking in some movie time.
Then I thought of our agreement. I felt selfish not allowing him to watch at the IMAX theater. It is not everyday that he is in Manila and all the more not all the time that a Superman movie is showing there. So I thought it was unfair of me to hinder him from going. After all, he is the real fan and I just sort of caught on his interest. And if I really said so, he will also try to please me and not go. But I don’t think it’s fair.
So I said that he should watch it there and we will just watch it again here. I even arranged for him to be able to watch it with my brother and his girlfriend, so that at least, he will not be alone. And thankfully, they were able to secure tickets for tomorrow’s screening–a Saturday. And he is so excited. I told him to wear a Superman shirt and also to have his pic taken at the theater so that I can blog about it. haha
