Mother’s Day Celebration

This is already quite late but I still wanted to share with you what we did last Mother’s Day. I was very cranky that day because of PMS as my period was nearing. I did not feel like doing anything. The day before, we already went to the beach with my parents, so I was already kinda tired.

My husband asked me what I wanted to do for our Mother’s Day Celebration. I said, “Nothing.” He asked me what I wanted to eat, I said, “I don’t know and I’m not in the mood to cook either.” We did not have a lot of budget to go out for lunch. Then I thought, why not just buy some food from McDonalds. I was craving for their burger because honestly, we have not eaten at McDonalds for quite some time, other than their caramel sundae. McDo is so near our house, just a couple of blocks away, but we do not always go there.

I also had one request for my Mother’s Day present–an upside down cake from Bob’s Pastry Shop here in Bacolod City. I was too specific, ain’t I? LOL Well, blame it on my hormones. There was just something about their upside down cake that makes me crazy. It is very sweet and the glazed sugar caramel on top is just irresistible.

So, to make the long story short, here was our Mother’s Celebration in 2 pictures.

This was already a feast for the three of us (yep that includes Dindin because she loved the fries) because we don’t always eat at McDo. And I super loved the cake…so did Dindin. We ate inside the bedroom because it was hot outside. And we ate in front of the TV. That was real treat! weeee We do not do these things everyday so that kinda made all these special.

My husband was also extra patient with me that day. I was cranky but he tried very hard to cater to my whims and not to cross me. I am very thankful. The three of us still had a wonderful time on Mother’s Day. Now I realize, our family is so small! haha
