My Husband’s New Job

My husband has started working with the call center Teletech at the Robinsons Cybergate Center. He is among the third wave of a new account that is based in Australia. He has already passed the accent training of two weeks and they are well on their first week of the product training.

With this new account, most of their schedules are during the day, as Australia and the Philippines have almost the same time zone. And we are glad. For us this is a blessing. For now until the end of November, hubby works from 8am to 4pm. Although some are complaining because this would mean no night differential, for us this means that he gets to wake up in the morning and come home to us in the afternoon. Then he can still work in the store until 7pm. This means that he has a regular sleeping and waking time and his health and sleep patterns will not be sacrificed. We are very happy with the schedule. And he is so blessed that he joined Teletech at this time.

It was quite some time that my husband has had the urging to work at Teletech. Not any other company, but Teletech. We believe God is bringing him there. The question was when. The time came in October when he handed in his application. And it was just so timely because this new account was just opened. The HR wanted him to join the 1st wave, but since my brother in law was getting married on the first week of October, we had to wait.

For us this is really a blessing. Hubby seems happy and fulfilled with what he is doing. He is gaining new friends, too. And we continue to pray that he will be salt and light amongst the people he will come in contact with, and a blessing, too. And that he will prosper there like a tree planted by streams of living water bearing fruit in season. We pray that these fruits will be the harvest of souls….

all throughout the season.
We need Friends to comfort us when we are sad,
and to have fun with us when we are glad.
We need Friends to give us good advice,
We need someone we can count on, and treat us nice.
We need Friends to remember us one we have passed sharing memories that will always last.

  1. My hubby used to work at Teletech Dumaguete pero hindi na ngayon… 🙂 He hated the graveyard shift and other factors kahit na he was performing really well…

  2. hi Zriz…oo nga e…the graveyard shift really sucks. although the pay is better. but i dont think it compensates for the effects on the health.

hi mommy elvz! will check it out. thanks! 😀

  3. Hmm… working at the call centre’s always interesting. I used to work at Amex’s call centre. We got a lot of very, very interesting calls! Yeah, those were the days.

And I wish your hubby all the best in his new job.
