All in all, I got sick and tired of regular coffee makers with glass carafe. Upon searching online, I discovered that there is actually a stainless steel carafe so that it will not easily break. I got one and have been using it for 3 months now. So here is my review of the Imarflex Coffee Maker with Stainless Steel Carafe.
Coffee is My Only Vice
Needless to say, coffee is my only vice. I love the flavor and aroma of coffee and I also find it exciting to experiment with different brands, kinds, and flavors.
When there are free seminars on coffee, like the coffee cupping workshop by Coffee Culture Roastery, I would attend. And I would listen intently because I want to learn more about my favorite drink.
Moreover, wifey and I also did not miss trying out the novelty coffee creations of the Third Wave Coffee Bacolod.
I am just amazed at how simple coffee beans become that magical, aromatic brew that helps make you start the day right.
Meanwhile, the wifey is also a coffee drinker, however, she just consumes what I make. She usually has black coffee in the morning and would just give me feedback, depending on how she took it that morning. Her usual comments are, “I like it” and “I don’t like it.”

Nevertheless, she has to have her caffeine fix in the morning, otherwise, she will suffer a migraine for the rest of the day. That is why we can be called the caffeinated couple.
Making Brewed Coffee
Since I like coffee so much, I have upgraded from three-in-one coffee mixes to brewed coffee. I prepare our hot coffee every morning using the usual coffee maker with glass carafe.
But ever since I shifted, I have already wasted three units of coffee makers. Two of the carafes were broken during washing by our helpers. It’s so frustrating that a unit with a motor will have to be replaced just because the pot broke.
In my last unit, I ordered a replacement from the company in Manila and it took some time for the carafe to arrive. Plus, considering the search, the waiting, and the shipping fee – it’s almost like I bought a new complete set. Then, it got broken by the helper… Again! Grrrrr!

The Price
I got it my Imarflex Coffee Maker with Stainless Steel Carafe for P1600 from the Imarflex official store at Shopee. It costs about twice as much as a regular coffee maker but I was drawn to the unbreakable carafe.
The first time I discovered it, it used to be priced P2,495 from a different Shoppe seller. I am not sure though if they adjusted the price or that the seller was merely selling it for more.
There are other brands that look better and with other features, but I am not very sure what they are. My cousin told me he found one with a timer. Then I also found a model of another brand that can grind the beans so you can enjoy the flavor of freshly ground beans. Trust me they taste different.
But this one can make my everyday coffee well, so I am fine with it.
So let’s say, I got the better deal, even with the shipping fee.

My Review of the Imarflex Coffee Maker with Stainless Steel Carafe
I like my Imarflex Coffee Maker, despite the price, because of the stainless steel carafe. The pot, being made of stainless steel, is safe from cracks and breakage. But I guess if you drop it, it can also get dented.
Later on, I appreciated that it has a light color because I can tell if there are coffee deposits on the filter basket. And this reminds me to clean the filter basket before using it again. This is especially something that the owner should do when brewing a different kind or brand of coffee beans.
There are many kinds of coffee makers and this one is classified as an Automatic Drip Coffee Maker. It is one of the most commonly used, especially for the home. It is one of the easiest to use, too.
The filter basket is removable and may be washed separately from the main unit.
Big Capacity
This unit can make up to 10 cups of coffee, so it’s ideal for homes with several adults who drink coffee. It can also be good for a small office with a few staff who can share a single brew.
Moreover, capacity is also one of the reasons why I bought this. If my brother’s family comes over during Sundays, we can have brewed coffee, especially after a heavy lunch.
Conclusion
It has been 3 months and so far so good. I am very happy with this purchase and despite costing twice as much as a regular coffee maker, I think that this is worth it.
Since its carafe is not prone to breakage, this unit will last longer so the longevity will translate into savings. I use it at least once a day, for our breakfast coffee. In the afternoons, I sometimes use it. But other times, I use our Nespresso machine.
We got a Nespresso machine from barter during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic and I am happy with it, too.

But because of the cost of the Nespresso capsules, I don’t drink it every day. I am just happy that I can enjoy it from time to time. Glad that I have a wife who is supportive of my love for coffee.
May this Imarflex Coffee Maker with Stainless Steel Carafe last me for years because I don’t want to buy another one anytime soon. (Or, I may not be allowed to.) I guess if we broke another glass pot, wifey would already demote me to 3-in-1 instant coffee again.
