In recent weeks, Bacolod City has experienced power outages and other electricity-related issues. I frequently encounter posts and complaints about the current Distribution Utility (DU). Some are beginning to question why we are facing more electrical problems recently, especially after the consumer approval of the Joint Venture Agreement (JVA). However, Negros Power, the future electrical DU of Central Negros, has not yet taken charge. Despite everything, we anticipate a brighter future with Negros Power. They are presenting us with a Promise Mug at the Panaad sa Negros Festival 2024, symbolizing their commitment to “help make Negros brighter with our passion to serve.”
Negros Power Joins Panaad sa Negros Festival 2024
We are midway through the celebration of the 28th Panaad sa Negros Festival, bringing together the vibrant spirit of Negrosanons in a celebration of their rich culture and heritage. This year, Negros Electric and Power Corp. (Negros Power) has joined for the first time and it introduced an exciting addition to the festivities.
As part of its inaugural presence at the festival, the company has prepared engaging activities for attendees to enjoy, aiming to enhance the festival experience.
Engaging Activities at the Festival
Negros Power set up the ‘Experience Booth’ at the Panaad Park Stage area where attendees can visit. They have also prepared a free charging station and a roulette game where Panaad-goers can have the chance to take home the Negros Power Promise Mug – a symbol of their commitment to serving the Negrosanons.
Join Negros Power at Panaad
Negros Power is grateful to take part in this grand celebration for the first time and they look forward to making more memories here in the province of Negros Occidental. They hope to learn more about the culture, the people, and the way of life of every Negrosanon as reflected by the Festival of Promise–the Panaad Festival. “Our humble booth is our way of starting a lasting friendship with the cities and municipalities, especially those who will soon be a part of our service,” their press release said.
Visit the Negros Power Booth
Panaad-goers can visit the Negros Power ‘Experience Booth’ near the Panaad Park Stage (in front of the side entrance of the San Carlos City LGU Pavillion). Take advantage of the charging station so the fun can continue throughout the night with no worries.
The booth is open until the closing of the Panaad sa Negros Festival on April 21, 2024. Panaad Park and Stadium is in Brgy. Mansilingan, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, Philippines.
