When we talk about Negros Power typhoon relief, we talk about real, on-the-ground help for families who suffered during Typhoon Tino. Last November 17, 2025, Negros Electric and Power Corp. (Negros Power) donated 100 sacks of rice (25 kg each) to support the affected residents. The company wanted to extend immediate help as communities continued to deal with the storm’s aftermath.
The provincial government, represented by Arnel Argusar, Head of the General Services Department of Negros Occidental, personally received the donated rice. The turnover highlighted how private groups and government partners can work together in difficult times.
Negros Power Typhoon Relief Efforts Continue to Grow
Representing Negros Power during the turnover were Atty. Warven Ilalim, Ronald Reosura (Community Relations Officer), and Klea Marie Tolones. They showed the company’s firm commitment to helping Negrenses recover. Their presence also emphasized that the support is not only material—it is also moral.
Negros Power’s leadership also expressed its support. Engr. Bernard Bailey Del Castillo, Chief Technical Officer and Chief Operating Officer, shared a heartfelt message for the victims.
“Our hearts go out to all Negrenses who continue to suffer from the effects of Typhoon Tino. This donation is a small gesture of our support, and we remain committed to doing our part in helping communities rebuild and recover.”
His statement showed the company’s genuine concern and long-term vision for community recovery.
