Megaworld Corporation, the real estate giant that’s developing a large chunk of Bacolod City, is building a new condo tower. Called One Manhattan, this coming Bacolod condominium will feature first-in-Bacolod amenities that residents will surely be happy with. These are expected to make residents want to stay at home more and enjoy imposing a self-quarantine in the light of Covid-19.
One Manhattan at The Upper East
Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, real estate development continues to flourish in Bacolod City. Families want to find good and secure places to live in, especially that people are encouraged to stay at home more in the new normal.
The 14-storey One Manhattan condominium will be the third residential tower inside the 34-hectare township called The Upper East.
First-in-Bacold Amenities
What makes One Manhattan different from all of Megaworld’s condominium towers in Bacolod is that it boast of many ‘first-in-Bacolod’ amenities.

- Two-bedroom units (up to 112 square meters)
- Three-bedroom units (up to 153 square meters)
Except for the studio type, the bedroom units have various layout choices. These include bi-level garden units as well as loft units with either lanai or balcony. So comfortable and attractive.
“This is our first residential development in Bacolod with more generous unit layouts and sizes. It has generous unique amenities as well. Our loft units are the first of their kind. We hope to give the best for Bacolod,” says Jennifer Palmares-Fong. She’s the vice president for sales and marketing of Megaworld Bacolod.
The new residential tower will have two levels of basement parking facilities, with its own drivers’ lounge at Basement 1.
Slated for completion in 2025, One Manhattan is expected to generate P1.6-billion in sales.
Other Updates from Megaworld
Since the launch of the first residential condominium development in The Upper East in 2018, prices of condo units in this township have appreciated by 40%.
Aside from residential towers, The Upper East, will also have a lifestyle mall and commercial centers. Additionally, there will be office towers, a boutique hotel, open and green parks, church, transport hub, and an eight-lane main avenue. This will connect the city’s Circumferential Road to Lopez Jaena Street, among others.
What’s more, the township is strategically located near the Bacolod Government Center and the city’s top universities. The Upper East will also be adorned with several iconic architectural and art structures.
