The Promise Renewed for the Panaad sa Negros Festival 2023

The Panaad Festival is back!!!

With the theme The Promise Renewed, I really got excited about the coming Panaad sa Negros Festival 2023.

That is because I always celebrate the progress and developments of my home province — Negros Occidental. And this festival is always a great boost as well as a tangible testament to that.

Though what I always looked forward to at the Panaad Festival is the food specialties of different cities and municipalities of the province, I also enjoy looking at the different local products they showcase. Then as a homeschooling family, this is one way for us to educate our children about our home province.

This year will be a big celebration because, as Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio “Bong” Lacson said, the province did not only survive the COVID-19 pandemic, the people also surmounted two major typhoons that ravage both northern and southern Negros.

The Launch

Panaad sa Negros Festival 2023 was launched in a grand event at the Capitol Lagoon last March 14, 2023. It was spearheaded by Gov. Bong Lacson, Vice Gov. Jeffrey Ferrer, as well as local government leaders from the cities and municipalities of Negros Occidental.

The new logo, which was a product of a provincewide search, was unveiled. Moreover, the new theme song and music video were also revealed. The 27 lovely young candidates of the Lin-ay Sang Negros 2023 were also presented to the media in a snappy sashing ceremony.

The turnout of the launch is just a sneak peek at what’s in store for the festival. So check out the schedule below and get ready for a whole week of meaningful celebrations at the Panaad sa Negros Festival 2023.
