When my baby’s gestation was still very young, I would ask my husband to talk to my tummy, so that at least the baby will be able to hear him and be familiar with his voice. But he is having a hard time talking, or finding words to say, because nobody is reacting to what he says.
But now, he is more than excited to talk to baby in the womb. He can’t wait for the baby to come out! lol It is because, when we talk to the baby nowadays, we see movement. And although we know that the movements may just be coincidence, still it very exciting to see a stretch, a kick or something whenever her favorite music is played, or when we simply engage the baby in a conversation.
Thankfully, I am not feeling pain in my flank now and I no longer have IV, so I have more freedom to move and do work.
Here are some pregnancy updates from babycenter.com:
i’m happy for both of you. God bless! =D
YEP, sooo good to feel that little one moving around – kickboxing or whatever it is! :o) keep on playing that music and flashligh – she’ll follow the light and the sound – that will help her go to the head down position as the D DAY approaches.
It’s really exciting to feel your baby moving inside your tummy.
Keep on playing music for her and talking with her too. That would be of big help for her development.
Take care and God Bless!
thank you all for your generous comments. baby is in upright position now. i mean, in preparation for labor. and she doesn’t move around, she just moves her arms and legs and turns, but not to change the position of her head. which is so nice. that is what i make of her movements. 🙂 she has been upright already since 26 weeks/ 🙂
