Today, I just learned that one of the twin sons of my husband’s best friend past away. It seems that SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) is the culprit.
They were are just more than a month old and this baby, Grayson, is the younger of the two. But he was the healthy one. His weight was close to normal while his twin brother Olcin was born with low birth weight and had to stay in the hospital longer than him. I remember his photo in his cute take me home outfits and I feel really sad.
We can never really understand the depth of the logic of these things but we can only trust that this is part of God’s plan.
Hubby wanted so much to visit his friend Oliver but he lives in Cagayan de Oro City. We checked the rates of the airfare and sea fares but they were too expensive at this time. And Oliver said that they just might bury baby Grayson on Wednesday so that the wake would not take long.
We can only trust God at this point.
