In the light of the spread of disease like the dreaded covid-19 and other STDs, one advice for married couples: stay faithful. Treat your sacred union with care your marriage will be safe from unwanted woes as well as diseases.
The Spread of Disease May Be Contained
Covid-19 has been killing a lot of people in its wake all over the world. Most of the populace is scared while some are being lackadaisical about it. While it is advisable not to panic, we should also not take safety for granted.
We see some people who are considered PUMs (people under monitoring), who instead of undergoing self-quarantine, still go out in the malls. The government has been calling for everyone’s cooperation but it seems others are not listening.
We can fight this pandemic if together we, we cooperate and work together.
Stay Faithful to Your Spouse and Protect Your Family
I have heard reports of people still going out and dating. There was one person who related that she saw two love birds kissing in public.
Then I thought, if that’s the case, what about those who solicit services of professional ladies for hire? Are they being careful? Did they stop?

This is really concerning because these people go home to to their wives and children. They are putting their households at risk.
So this is actually an encouragement. If we stay faithful to our spouses, a big percentage of infection will go down. Married people, let’s help fight the spread of disease. Let’s stay faithfully married.
A Story of Someone We Know
Many years ago, we went to the wake of a wife and mom. We knew her daughter so we condoled and paid our respects.
How did her mom die? Cause of death was cervical cancer. We learned that her father was a womanizer, had many extra-marital relationships and who also solicited the services of paid women. Because of his infidelity, his wife paid the price — with her life.

Moreover, the wife’s condition drained the family’s finances and all the daughters had to have the HPV vaccine.
If you don’t know it yet, cervical cancer is caused by the Human papillomavirus (HPV). It is sexually transmitted.
What a sad, sad story! I really hope that man already changed his ways.
Stay Home, Bond, and Pray
During this trying time, we are encouraged to stay home, so let’s do it. If you do need to leave the house, follow the guidelines and wear a mask and maybe even disposable gloves like those from unigloves to keep you and your family safe.
What do we do at home? Let’s spend time with our spouses and children. Share a meal. Play board games. Watch TV together.
Create new happy memories with your family. But most of all, pray. Pray for your families as well as the community workers who put their lives at risk to serve us.

We can all be proactive in this situation. God bless and protect us all from covid-19!
