The Third Wave Coffee Bacolod: Where Coffee is Never Boring

I drink coffee but it’s more of having my caffeine boost for the day. Meanwhile, for hubby, coffee is a lifestyle. That’s why he especially enjoyed our quick date at The Third Wave Coffee Bacolod. They are located at Narra Extension, Bacolod City, in that new and colorful heritage building.

Afternoon Date at The Third Wave Coffee Bacolod

One afternoon, hubby and I went out to deliver and pick up stuff from the barter community. On the way home, we stopped by The Third Wave Coffee Bacolod and chanced upon the owner, Ms. Laverne Traifalgar.

At first, we thought of getting coffee to go because we were not really dressed to go out. We just went around making our deliveries.

But it was hard to appreciate the artisan coffee creations at The Third Wave Coffee Bacolod without sitting down. So this caffeinated couple couldn’t resist the lure of good coffee.

Sweet Discoveries

Laverne prepared Vietnamese egg coffee and cotton coffee for us. For those who like it sweet, egg coffee is a good choice. I especially like it, primarily because it’s strong and sweet.

The Third Wave Coffee Bacolod is where you get good coffee, affordable meals, and a whole lot of excitement. And it’s not just the palpitations brought about by caffeine.

It’s the novelty that each order brings you that will draw you in. You get excited about what you will get and how you will have it. I am not an expert on coffee beans, so I will just tell you if I like something or not.

You enjoy their craft coffees in the company of good friends as well as owners who are hands-on with their creations. Ask them questions about their products and they will surely enjoy answering you.

On the second floor is a more private space to have a relaxing cup. Or it can be transformed into a function room for small events.

But if you want to have a family gathering at home, Laverne can also whip up food trays for you. You can take them out and enjoy them in the safety of your home surrounded by family. Or you can give them out as gifts, too.

Safety Protocols

In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, The Third Wave Coffee Bacolod is not air-conditioned. That makes it safer for guests and the staff. Plus, they also have health, sanitation, and safety protocols in place.

The usual thermal scanner, disinfectant alcohol, and foot bath are in place at the entrance.

They also impose the wearing of face masks for the staff. Meanwhile, they only allow customers who wear masks from the outside.
