I am sorry that I cannot tell you at this time about the gender of our baby. Although the baby had been very obedient–woke up early today then slept until the doctor came in, moved arms and legs while the ultrasound was going on, and opened legs wide for us to see.
But the genital area was just too hazy to really get a clear look. So I guess, God wants to surprise us. We are just thankful that baby is healthy, with heart beat of 158bpm and with active fetal somatic movements. Position is still breech but at least there is no nuchal cord. Everything else is normal. Estimated weight is 12 oz. Gestation is at 20 weeks and 2 days.
After the ultrasound, our papa was in a good mood, so we stopped by McDonalds and bought two Happy Meals (1 chicken nuggets and 1 burger meal) so that we can get new toys for baby. We got Marty the Zebra and Melman the Giraffe. He had already bought Moto Moto the Hippopotamus. So we have 3 toys already.
We intend to watch the movie when it is shown here in our place.

actually between 18-22 weeks is ideal. others have it at 16 weeks. my doctor said to go before my prenatal, which was nov 7. i went on nov. 8. others say, that even on the 7th month, there are babies that don’t reveal their genders.
well, i guess our baby (or God) wants to surprise us. 😀

well we are just saving what we got. we don’t have much, but we want to make the most out of it. so we start buying here and there. and most of what we have now are hand me downs–praise God for generous people! 😀
