The ASUS ExpertBook Ultra has made its way to Cebu and Davao, bringing ASUS Business Philippines’ flagship AI business laptop closer to executives, entrepreneurs, IT decision-makers, and professionals in two of the country’s key business hubs.
Following its Manila debut on July 1, 2026, the ASUS ExpertBook Ultra made its regional debut at NUSTAR Resort Cebu on September 7 and 8. The regional tour then continued to Davao City on September 11 at Dusit D2.
More than 1,000 people attended the Cebu and Davao launches. The attendees included business leaders, IT decision-makers, partners, clients, and members of the media.
Bringing Business Technology Closer to Regional Markets
ASUS Business Philippines says the regional launch is part of its continued expansion beyond Metro Manila.
The company brought the ASUS ExpertBook Ultra to Cebu and Davao to make its latest business-grade devices more accessible in key regional markets.
As businesses in the Visayas and Mindanao continue to expand, the demand for reliable, high-performance technology is also growing. The regional events gave businesses an opportunity to experience the devices firsthand and explore solutions suited to their needs.
Cebu Launch Draws More Than 600 Attendees
The tour kicked off in Cebu City on September 7 and 8, drawing more than 600 attendees to NUSTAR Resort Cebu.
The Cebu launch was hosted by veteran broadcast journalist and ASUS Business Brand Ambassador Rico Hizon, alongside co-host Andi Pateña-Mateu. The event also featured a special performance by Jacky Chang.
The Davao leg followed on September 11. More than 500 attendees gathered at Dusit D2 for the regional close. Claire Lara hosted the event, which also featured a special performance by Aila Santos.
Both launches opened with an Expert Class Forum. The program included sales training, a product showcase, and an exclusive first look at the ASUS Business product roadmap and upcoming programs.
The Grand Launch followed with live durability demonstrations, local dance performances, and a Gala Night focused on networking and celebration.
Together, the Cebu and Davao launches mark another step in ASUS Business Philippines’ regional expansion, bringing business-grade devices and support closer to companies and professionals in the Visayas and Mindanao.
Rico Hizon Leads the Cebu Launch
The Cebu Grand Launch also marked a significant moment for ASUS Business Philippines Brand Ambassador Rico Hizon, who took on the role of host.
Hizon is a veteran broadcast journalist and business consultant with 38 years of experience covering some of the world’s most consequential business stories.
The launch also featured a special “Murphy’s Law” video starring ASUS Business ambassadors Gabbi Garcia and Rico Hizon. The video demonstrated the ASUS ExpertBook Ultra’s durability and resilience through a series of unexpected challenges.
