Das Burgery is Within Reach with GrabFood Bacolod

When I crave for a burger in Bacolod, it is always Das Burgery that comes to mind. For me, they have one of the yummiest and juiciest burgers I have eaten. And now, I can wait for my burgers at home with the GrabFood Bacolod food delivery service.

The Best Burger in Bacolod

We met the owners of Das Burgery, Dodjie Cusi and his wife Ched Hilado-Cusi, during the Kidtrepreneur summer workshop at SM City Bacolod. Eventually, our kids then became classmates in jungolf.

We learned that Dodjie is a big fan of burgers and he would sample every kind of hamburger wherever he goes around the world.

His love for burgers motivated him to make a product that could rival the best burgers of the world. That is how Das Burgery was born.

Why We Love Burgers at Das Burgery

The Cusi couple also owns a Monterey meat shop so they get to choose the best meats at the lowest price for their burgers. And since they grind their own meat, you get the freshest and most sanitary burger patties there are.

These patties are grilled just the way I like it–medium well, so that the flavors and juices are intact. Depending on your order, each burger has its own sauce and vegetable combination. Named after their only son, our favorite burger is Enzo’s Way, which has caramelized onions.

Combined with their condiments and a special bun, the Das Burgery patties are flavorful and juicy. But you still get to taste the fresh pure beef flavor that I love so much. By the way, did I mention that they use Angus beef in their burgers?

Das Burgery with GrabFood Bacolod

Honestly, I don’t get to enjoy Das Burgery burgers as often as I would like. Sometimes, I cannot catch them open. We are also running a business and sometimes, we cannot go out immediately even if we want to.

So just imagine how happy I was that Das Burgery has partnered with GrabFood Bacolod. They have suddenly become more accessible.

For an extra few pesos as delivery charge, the food delivery service is totally worth it!

How to Order Das Burgery Burgers from GrabFood Bacolod

One day, at around 10am, I was browsing through GrabFood on my Grab app.

By the way, if you have not done so yet, you need to download the Grab app to access Grab Food. It is just part of the same app we use to book Grab rides. Within the app, you choose Car to book a ride, while Food is for food delivery service.

I saw burgers under Popular Cuisines, so I started to crave for some burger. So I clicked that option and looked for Das Burgery.

Unfortunately, they were not available until 11:30am. But since I want no other burger except Das Burgery’s Fully Monty, I waited.

After 11:30am, I checked the app again and this time typed Das Burgery on the search menu of the GrabFood app. There they were: Das Burgery ready to serve!

So I clicked Das Burgery. Went to the Aussie Beef Burgers tab.

There it was the Full Monty at P230! I clicked the item, then options for add-ons comes up.

What drinks do you want to go with the Fully Monty? Do I want cheese, bacon, or caramelized onions and mushrooms, as add-ons to that Aussie juicy patty? I then clicked “Add to Basket”.

After clicking “Add to Basket” the app brings me back to the merchant’s menu where I can add other items I might want to order.

But since I did not want to order other items anymore, I clicked “View Basket” and the option to “Place Order” shows up. There was a P39 delivery charge on my order. (Before clicking “Place Order”, you may want to choose the payment method. Scroll up to find this option. This is when you also use other payment methods for Grab Car. Side by side payment method is where you can input Promo Codes. )

After clicking “Place Order”, I wait.

I was asked to give details about my delivery address. You could skip it or give some directions and landmarks so the rider will not have a hard time locating my address. But then, the riders are also using GPS to help them find the customer’s location. However, the landmark will make it easier for them to find the exact location.

If you have tried booking a ride with Grab, it is almost the same after placing the order (which is the equivalent of booking the ride). While I wait for my food, I can chat with the rider to give him additional information.

Since I was tracking the order process and saw that he was on his motorbike, I didn’t. I don’t want him to text and drive.

Meanwhile, tracking the order showed me if the rider has picked up my Full Monty and how near he was to our location. I could not let go of the app until I got my burger!

And that’s how I got to enjoy a Das Burgery Full Monty without leaving my home!

Grabfood is a Solution to Bacolod Traffic

While traffic may be a sign of progress, pro-active solutions are needed to mitigate such for it not to be a big problem.

Bacolod’s traffic problem may have different factors that worsens it, but since Bacolodnons love to eat out, the volume of cars on the road causes many to rant on social media.

GrabFood food delivery service has come to Bacolod in perfect timing. It came at the height of the Masskara Festival season and was launched with great fanfare at the L’Fisher Hotel Bacolod.

Soon after, it will be the Yuletide season. The food delivery service will lessen the volume of vehicles on the busy streets.

Additionally, lesser use of vehicles is good for our environment, too. There’s lesser fuel consumption since two-wheeled vehicles consume lesser fuel. And then lesser fuel consumption means lesser fuel burned. And not to mention the decrease in your laundry load because you don’t have to dress up just to go out for dinner. Hahaha….
