The Association of Negros Producers (ANP) of Negros Occidental will proudly showcase Negros-made products to the world through an exhibit in Manila. After a 2-year hiatus during the pandemic, last year’s comeback paved the way for the 37th Negros Trade Fair with new innovations and more exhibitors. Find out more about the grand event that will be held at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City from September 26 to October 1, 2023.
The 37th Negros Trade Fair
Mark your calendars for an exciting event this September! The eagerly anticipated Negros Trade Fair is making its yearly trip to Metro Manila on its 37th return. While last year was a blast, this year is going to be bigger and better.
Organized by the Association of Negros Producers (ANP), this trade fair is set to showcase the finest Negros-made products at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City from September 26 to October 1, 2023.
Amuma: Experience the Essence of Negrense Culture
Themed “Amuma,” which translates to warmth and generosity in the local Hiligaynon language, this year’s trade fair is a celebration of the Negrense spirit.
The event aims to encapsulate the richness of Negrense culture, highlighting the boundless generosity, warm hospitality, and open-heartedness that define the province of Negros Occidental.
Meanwhile, the event’s logo was conceptualized by the talented Bacolod artist Stephanie Hilado-Lindaya, who perfectly captured this essence.
What to Expect at the Trade Fair
The 37th Negros Trade Fair isn’t just an ordinary event–it’s the country’s longest-running provincial trade fair held in Metro Manila.
This remarkable fair provides a platform for micro, small, and medium enterprises to expand their markets and explore endless opportunities for product export and trade. It’s a true showcase of ingenuity, creativity, and commitment to product development.
Celebrate Excellence in Craftsmanship
As a kick-off activity, the Association of Negros Producers held the Bulawan Awards and introduced the Pilak Awards Competition and Trade Fair last July.
Through the Bulawan Awards held in Bacolod City, the member producers displayed their remarkable craftsmanship across different product categories. Moreover, this competition not only encourages creativity but also highlights the dedication to product excellence.
Delight in Negrense Food and More
One of the major attractions of the 37th Negros Trade Fair is the delectable spread of Negros food products. From local delicacies to irresistible treats, these products have been a hit among locals and visitors alike. Indulge in favorites like piaya, pastries, Felicia’s ensaymada, and cookies.
Furthermore, it’s not just about food. Explore a diverse range of offerings including fashion items, accessories, home decor, lighting fixtures, and even exquisite furniture pieces.
A Tribute to Negrense Culture
Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio “Bong” Lacson aptly describes the theme “Amuma” as a tribute to Negrense culture—a culture that embodies generosity, welcoming spirits, and an open heart.
This trade fair serves as a platform to not only bring in sales for producers but also to open doors of opportunities, fostering connections that extend beyond borders.
