DITO Joins Bacolod MassKara Festival 2024

DITO Telecommunity is back and ready to bring smiles to Bacolod’s famous MassKara Festival. Now in its 45th year, this MassKara Festival celebrates Bacolod’s vibrant culture and joyful energy. Known as the “City of Smiles,” Bacolod City will come alive once again with its famous parades, dazzling masks, and energetic street performances.

DITO’s Role in MassKara 2024

As a company focused on connecting Filipinos, DITO plays a key role in this year’s festival. With the support of Bacolod’s city government, DITO is bringing exciting activities to make the MassKara celebration even more memorable.

As it kicked off with the MassKara Festival Grand Countdown last October 11, DITO’s involvement doesn’t stop there. The Miss Bacolod MassKara Coronation Night last October 19 also featured DITO’s special award. They honored the contestant who best embodies confidence and community spirit.

Other exciting events include the TODO Na DITO sa MassKara ElekTROIKA Divas and the Electric Float Parade on October 26, where Bacolod’s creativity will be on full display. The festival will close with the highly anticipated TODO Na DITO MassKara Street Dance & Arena Competition on October 27, highlighting Bacolod’s energy and talent.

DITO Chief Revenue Officer Evelyn Jimenez summed it up perfectly, “At DITO, we believe in empowering communities and celebrating local heritage. MassKara is a perfect way to showcase Bacolod’s unique spirit.”

DITO Days at MassKara

From October 25 to 27, the DITO Corporate Block on Lacson Tourism Strip will host the DITO Days. This three-day celebration will be packed with fun and entertainment.

Visitors can experience the DITO Experiential Hub, featuring interactive activities and a cozy café. Take home freebies with every purchase of DITO products. Home internet gadgets like the DITO Home 5G Postpaid WiFi and the revolutionary DITO Home WOWFi will be available there. DITO Home WOWFi, the world’s first 5G RedCap technology for home use.

The festival will also feature the TODO Na DITO Contests—TODO Kantahan, TODO Sayawan, and TODO Gaming—bringing out the best local talents. End the night with performances by artists like Cup of Joe, ALAMAT, and Hev Abi at the TODO Na DITO MassKara Concert.
