The foodpanda Logistics Pau-tastic Party ng Taon brought more smiles to Bacolod as the nationwide celebration kicked off its first leg in the City of Smiles. This year, the annual year-end event took a more exciting turn with a multi-city series. This initiative brings the festivities even closer to rider communities across the country.
A Bigger and More Accessible Celebration for Ka-panda Riders
This year’s Pau-tastic Party ng Taon celebration opened at Club K Bacolod. It marked the first stop of three major legs planned across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
“The Pau-tastic Party ng Taon is one of our biggest ways of giving back to our Ka-panda riders, who power our service every day,” said Ron Sanders, Rider Experience Lead of foodpanda Logistics Philippines. He added that the goal is to make the celebration more accessible, allowing riders in different regions to gather, connect, and join in the fun.
Fun Activities, Big Wins, and Heartwarming Stories
The night was packed with games, performances, and raffle draws that kept Ka-panda riders energized. One highlight was Pera o PandaBag, foodpanda Logistics’ thrilling twist on the classic noontime game Pera o Bayong.
The crowd cheered the loudest when Ka-panda Samuelle Perialde won a brand new motorcycle and ₱200,000 in cash. Samuelle has been a rider for five years and is a single father of two. He plans to use the prize for his children’s schooling. He will also use it to repair their home, which was damaged by Typhoon Tino.
Meanwhile, Ka-panda Bernie Rabong, a bicycle rider, was one of the three lucky winners of a Honda Aerox. Many other riders also took home gadgets, riding gear, and cash prizes.
Top Artists Set the Stage Ablaze
The excitement grew with performances from Lucas Garcia, Maui Bordador, Dreycruz, and Bert Symoun. Tanya Chinita, Terry Gian, and Papa Toro kept the crowd laughing and the energy up all night. The night also featured a nostalgic performance by Salbakuta, who performed their classic hits.
Four-year Ka-panda rider Jason Base shared, “Being able to experience the Pau-tastic Party ng Taon right here in the Visayas is a huge motivation for all of us. Tonight we felt like one big family. The Pau-tastic Party really strengthened our community spirit.”
The Next Stops for the Pau-tastic Party ng Taon
Foodpanda Logistics continues the celebration in Cagayan de Oro on December 7, 2025. Another event is scheduled for Pampanga on December 14, 2025. Local rider communities nationwide will also host smaller celebrations supported by foodpanda Logistics.
Sanders added, “We want every Ka-panda rider to feel appreciated—not just through incentives and daily support programs, but also through gatherings that bring the community together.”
