A poor husband in France was divorced by his wife for lack for sexual activity in their 21 years of marriage. But as if this was not enough, the woman filed another charge after the divorce was granted.
Apparently on the war path, the woman, whose identity and her husband’s are being held, filed for damages and claimed for 10,000 Euros because the husband has not satisfied her in their marriage. While the husband claimed tiredness and health problems, the judge in a court in Nice, France thought that the wife had valid claims because under under article 215 of the French civil code, married couples must agree to a “shared communal life” that implies that “sexual relations must form part of a marriage”.
The fine was approved at 8,5000 Euros, which was less than the 10,000 Euros that was demanded by the wife.
Tsk. Tsk. I hope that wives with husbands who are suffering from impotence and other health problems will not get ideas to do this. Remember, in sickness and in health, right?
