Whenever October comes, Bacolod City is abuzz with the celebration of the city’s Charter Day (October 19) and the MassKara Festival. This festival may have started as a comeback from a tragedy in the 1980s, but it has now become an annual celebration that the whole country looks forward to.
Without further ado, here is the MassKara Festival 2023 Schedule of Activities and the things you need to watch out for.
The 2nd Mayor Albee Benitez MassKaraLympics
For athletes and sports enthusiasts, there are different sporting events for the 2nd Mayor Albee Benitez MassKaraLympics. Fans of volleyball, badminton, golf, cycling, billiards, and MMA, be prepared as your favorite national players are coming to Bacolod!
New MassKara Festival 2023 Logo Launched
The Bacolod Yuhum Foundation unveiled the new SuperCity Bacolod MassKara Festival 2023 logo during the media launch held at Bob’s Restaurant. It was designed by Bacolod artist Myish Endonila who drew inspiration from the colorful endemic Kingfisher from the Negros Island.
MassKara Festival 2023 Official Music
“Masskara: Sinadya sa Bacolod” is the official song of this year’s MassKara Festival. It was composed by Marvin Querido of Neocolours and performed by artists Kyle Echarri, Janeena Chan, and Anthony Rosaldo.
