MoMs Across Philippines Negros General Assembly gathered mothers and community members on February 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Barangay Handumanan Gym to discuss key updates and pressing concerns.

MoMs Across Philippines Negros, Inc. successfully held its General Assembly, bringing together members to strengthen collaboration and community engagement. The gathering focused on organizational updates, advocacy initiatives, and important issues affecting residents.

One of the major highlights of the MoMs Across Philippines Negros General Assembly was the IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) Talk conducted by Negros Power.

The session was led by Rollen Balquin, Community Relations Officer of Negros Power. During the IEC Talk, Balquin presented the company’s programs and initiatives. He emphasized consumer awareness and open communication.

“Through IEC activities like this, we aim to keep consumers informed while also listening to their concerns. Open communication helps us improve our services and better serve the community,” Balquin said.

Because of this approach, participants gained clearer insights into how Negros Power operates and responds to consumer needs.

Negros Power IEC Talk Promotes Consumer Awareness

After the presentation, an open forum followed. This allowed participants to raise concerns directly.

Negros Power addressed questions related to billing, service reliability, and customer assistance. As a result, attendees received immediate clarification on issues affecting them.

Participant Wella De Guzman expressed appreciation for the activity. She highlighted the value of direct engagement.

“The IEC Talk helped us better understand Negros Power’s programs. It also gave us a chance to ask questions and receive clear answers,” she said.

Meanwhile, Felisa Goram emphasized the importance of staying informed.

“Being informed empowers us as consumers. Activities like this allow us to voice our concerns and feel that we are being heard,” Goram said.
