Negros Power ISNAP continues to make a meaningful impact as the company records a major milestone of 2,210 approved electrical permits in 2025 while expanding access to legal electricity.
In its continued commitment to inclusive service and community safety, Negros Power highlights this achievement while strengthening its ISNAP (Informal Settlers New Application Program). The initiative aims to expand access to electricity for underserved communities.
How Negros Power ISNAP Improves Access
Recognizing the need for a more accessible system, ISNAP bridges the gap between informal settlers and legal electrical connections. It simplifies procedures from securing permits at the Office of the Building Official (OBO) to completing applications with Negros Power.
Because of this streamlined process, applicants now experience a faster and more convenient system. Many residents who once struggled with paperwork can now navigate the process with ease.

Negros Power ISNAP Promotes Safety
Beyond convenience, Negros Power ISNAP promotes safety and sustainability within communities. Informal settlements often face electrical hazards due to illegal connections, which can lead to fires and serious risks.
Through ISNAP, Negros Power reduces these dangers by encouraging legal and properly installed electrical services. As a result, more households now enjoy safer living conditions.
To bring services closer to residents, the Community Relations Team conducts weekly barangay visits. They assist with applications and guide applicants through the ISNAP process. Interested residents may check the official Negros Power page for schedules or visit the office directly.

Bringing Services Closer to Communities
This initiative reflects Negros Power’s commitment to grassroots engagement. The company reaches out to communities, especially in fire-prone areas, and reinforces its role as a partner in development.
Ms. Unice Castillon, Community Relations Assistant Manager of Negros Power, emphasized the importance of the program:
“ISNAP is more than just a service initiative it is a commitment to inclusivity and safety. We want to make the process easier for our informal settler communities so they can access legal electricity without difficulty. Through this program, we are not only providing power but also helping protect lives and properties by reducing unsafe and illegal connections.”

As ISNAP continues to expand, it highlights a vision of a safer and more inclusive future. More households, regardless of status, now gain access to reliable and legal electricity.
