There’s welcome news for electricity consumers in Bacolod and nearby areas. The Negros Power June 2025 rate has dropped by ₱0.55 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) — a meaningful reduction that directly benefits households and businesses alike.

This new rate provides timely relief at a time when many families are juggling rising living costs. Lower electricity bills mean more breathing room in the budget for other daily needs.

What the Negros Power June 2025 Rate Means for Households

Residential customers will now pay ₱11.14/kWh, compared to ₱11.69/kWh in May. For a typical household consuming 200 kWh per month, this equals a savings of ₱110.

Good news! The Negros Power June 2025 rate drops by ₱0.55/kWh, giving households and businesses real savings on their electricity bills.

While that may seem modest, every peso counts — especially for working families. That money can go toward food, fuel, medicine, or education. Over the course of a year, the savings become even more substantial.

“This rate adjustment is part of our ongoing commitment to ease the financial strain on our consumers,” said Negros Power. “We understand the daily realities families face — and we’re doing our part to help lighten the load.”

Lower Commercial Rates Offer Business Relief

Businesses also benefit from this rate drop. For June 2025, updated rates are as follows:

  • Low Voltage: ₱11.18/kWh
  • High Voltage: ₱10.09/kWh

Lower energy costs allow businesses — especially small and medium-sized enterprises — to control expenses more effectively. This can lead to better pricing, improved services, and even job retention.

What’s Driving the June 2025 Rate Drop?

The Negros Power June 2025 rate reduction is the result of smarter power sourcing and improved system efficiency. Feeder loss, which reflects electricity wasted during transmission, improved from 8.28% in May to 8.03% in June.

This improvement is thanks to ongoing rehabilitation efforts and infrastructure upgrades that reduce technical losses and boost reliability.

A Continued Commitment to Affordable Power

Negros Power isn’t just maintaining the grid — it’s working to modernize it. Consumers can expect more reliable service, fewer interruptions, and fair pricing as improvements continue.

“We’re here to power your homes and support your lives,” the company added. “We’re committed to stable, affordable, and reliable electricity — now and into the future.”

With more upgrades in the pipeline, the public can look forward to long-term energy solutions that truly serve their needs.
