What’s happening in Bacolod? Soon, the 2.4-hectare Northill Parade at Northill Gateway will usher in a new dining experience for Bacolodnons. Megaworld Lifestyle Malls, the retail and commercial arm of property giant Megaworld, unveiled its redesigned masterplan for Northill Parade. This retail and commercial development is set to rise within the 53-hectare Northill Gateway township along the Bacolod-Silay Airport Access Road.
The Northill Parade: Another First from Megaworld
Megaworld brings more firsts to Bacolod City!
Changing the Negros landscape, both literally and figuratively, has been Megaworld’s game in Bacolod. From opening a McDonald’s NXTGEN store with McCafe at Forbes Hill to bringing Philippine President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. to The Upper East, Megaworld is a trailblazer not only in developments but also in trends.
As Bacolod has become a food tourist destination, adding these restaurants would surely up the ante.
Northill Parade will feature a diverse roster of food and retail concepts, including standout international casual dining brands from The Bistro Group. These are the free-standing restaurant outlets that are first-in-Bacolod, namely:
- Denny’s
- TGI Friday’s
- Randy’s Donuts
- Texas Roadhouse
- Olive Garden
This will be the first branches of Randy’s Donuts and Olive Garden outside of Metro Manila. Moreover, the upcoming Randy’s Donuts will also feature a dedicated drive-thru lane.
What to Expect at the Northill Parade
“We are excited to introduce Northill Parade as our redesigned commercial development in Northill Gateway. This free-standing commercial concept is similar to the stopovers in the United States located along highways going to and from the airport. Aside from serving guests and tourists driving along the Bacolod-Silay Airport Access Road, Northill Parade will also offer great convenience to residents of Forbes Hill, Fountain Grove, and other nearby villages,” says Graham M. Coates, head, of Megaworld Lifestyle Malls.
Aside from retail and dining establishments, the remainder of the space will be allotted to open spaces, parking, and landscaped pathways. Northill Parade forms part of the 7.5-hectare mixed-use retail and leisure complex inside Megaworld’s Northill Gateway township.
“Northill Parade perfectly fits the concept of Northill Gateway as a township surrounded by a residential community and highlighted by an outdoor leisure setting that delights visitors with panoramic views of the Negros mountains and the amazing sunset at twilight. Aside from those from The Bistro Group, there will be several other food and retail tenants that will be part of this development,” adds Coates.
Soon, a fully air-conditioned chapel that can accommodate up to 250 people, as well as leisure and institutional components, will also rise inside Northill Gateway to further complement the vibrant lifestyle taking shape in the area.
Cementing Bacolod’s Spot on the Foodie Map
So whenever you come to visit Bacolod City, always, always, prepare your tummy for a foodie adventure. Well, I am from here. I am picturing this out differently. As our list of places to go dating and dine-in becomes longer, these new Bacolod restaurants shall be included in our list.
Though Sigrid Says, the award-winning blogger, my wife, and co-owner of this blog is also my spoiler when it comes to food, it will be lovely to give her a break from cooking and take her to fine restaurants. No Mama Cooks and Papa Eats on those nights.
The Northill Parade
Northill Parade is the latest commercial and dining destination rising soon in Northill Gateway, one of the 30 integrated township developments of Megaworld.
Set to open next year, it is the latest development in Bacolod from Megaworld Lifestyle Malls, the retail and commercial development arm of Megaworld known for pioneering the concept of lifestyle malls in the Philippines.
