Negros Power and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) has once again collaborated to promote fire safety, environmental responsibility, and community welfare. This latest Negros Power X BFP collaboration took place last March 12, 2025, when Negros Power actively participated in a coastal cleanup at Purok Punta Balhas, Barangay Pahanocoy, Bacolod City.

Negros Power x BFP Coastal Cleanup
The cleanup event, themed “Sa pag-iwas sa sunog, hindi ka nag-iisa” (In preventing fires, you are not alone), gathered nearly 300 participants from various organizations. The initiative emphasized how a clean environment helps prevent fire hazards and strengthens community resilience.
This marks the third activity that Negros Power has joined in collaboration with the BFP, following the Red Zone Awareness Program in Barangay Banago and a tree-planting initiative in Barangay Felisa.
City Fire Marshal FSupt. Jenny Mae C. Masip expressed her appreciation for Negros Power’s continued support:
“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Negros Power for their proactive support of our initiatives. This coastal cleanup is a vital step toward preventing potential fires while keeping our community clean.”
