Who is Your Bet? Who is the Next Lin-ay Sang Negros 2023?
A total of 28 lovely young ladies are vying for the crown. But who will be the next Lin-ay sang Negros 2023? Who’s your bet?
The last Lin-ay sang Negros pageant was held last 2019 where Lin-ay sang Talisay Roxanne Toleco bagged the crown. The pandemic, however, put all social activities to a halt. With the festival comeback, it is also time to relinquish the crown to the new queen.
Muse of the Media 2023
One of the preliminary events is the press presentation and talent competition held last April 14 at the Ayala Malls Capitol Central Activity Center. The candidates presented their best selves to the media and attempted to impress the members of the press through a question-and-answer portion.
Three ladies stood out: Lin-ay sang Murcia, Lin-ay sang Silay, and Lin-ay sang Himamaylan.
In the end, Ms. Lyzabelle Blythe Villa, Lin-ay sang Himamaylan, has endeared herself to the majority of the members of the media. She got her first recognition in the competition: the Muse of the Media Award. Meanwhile, she is also currently the reigning Miss Teen Masskara 2022.
Talent Competition
In the talent portion, the candidates did not only showcase their personal talents and skills but also tied them with showcasing their city’s or town’s culture. From singing, playing an instrument, dancing, oratory, declamation, and event painting, the young ladies managed to present their hometown’s pride.
Festival Costume Competition
Since the next Lin-ay sang Negros will be the face of the Mother of Festivals, a Festival Costume Competition was also held last April 16, also at the Ayala Malls Capitol Central.
The candidates wore the best costume that depicts their hometown’s festival, produce, and culture. We will know the winner on the coronation night.
Upcoming Lin-ay Sang Negros 2023 Events
On April 18, there will be a Corporate Day and Preliminary Q&A, 4pm, also at Ayala Malls Capitol Central, Activity Center. This will be the last event prior to the Pageant Night.
The crowning of the new Lin-ay Sang Negros will be on April 21, 2023, 7pm, at the Panaad Park and Stadium, in Mansilingan, Bacolod City.
