Enhancing Electricity Delivery Through Partnership

Last Sunday marked a significant milestone for CENECO and its consumers. Through a successful collaboration with Negros Power, the Reclamation and Burgos substations have been rehabilitated. This rehabilitation project aims to ensure enhanced electricity delivery and minimize future disruptions, reflecting a commitment to proactive maintenance and consumer satisfaction.

Negros Power: A Result of Joint Venture Agreement

Negros Power is the result of the Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) between CENECO and Primelectric Holdings Inc. Although not yet in operation, Negros Power is set to serve Bacolod City and Central Negros. Support from CENECO Employees

CENECO employees visited MORE Power in Iloilo late last year. This visit transformed their apprehension into enthusiasm for the Joint Venture Agreement. This ignited their optimism for the future of power distribution in Negros. They also got to appreciate the benefits of modern infrastructure and customer-centric approaches. Despite the requirement for CENECO employees to reapply to join Negros Power’s workforce, more than half of them seized the opportunity. Negros Power has welcomed them, and Castro has directed the Human Resource Department Manager to expedite proceedings. This underscores the company’s dedication to a swift and efficient transition.

A Bright Future Ahead

The support and collaboration between CENECO, Negros Power, and MORE Power signal a brighter future for power distribution in Bacolod City and Central Negros. This partnership aims to deliver top-quality electric services to the region with a focus on efficiency, reliability, and consumer satisfaction.
